Does the clinic accept walk-ins?
Most services require an appointment, which can be made over the phone or at the front desk of our office. This way we can ensure quality care to all our clients.
What is the cost?
The dental clinic accepts patients with Medicaid and AllKids with standard rates applied. Patients without insurance, that fall under specific income guidelines, are also served and charged standard Medicaid rates- due at the time of service. Call 217-253-4137 for the cost of specific services.
Monthly Clinics
Immunizations
1st Thursday (9-11am & 1:30-4pm) and 3rd Wednesday of the Month (3-6pm). Appointment required
Health Screening
Cholesterol & Diabetes Screening,, Blood Pressure Check and TB Testing
2nd Tuesday of the Month 9-11am.
No Appointment Necessary
Nail Clinic
3rd Tuesday of the Month 8:30-11am. Appointment Required

The Douglas County Clinic is staffed by a dentist, two dental hygienists, several nurses, as well as a medical professional. Services are available to all residents of Douglas County and surrounding areas. While the clinic’s primary focus is on preventative care and wellness, other services may be available upon request. Dental Services
Adults
Comprehensive exams (new clients, then once every 3 yrs), limited oral exam or problem focused exam, x-rays, extractions
** Adult cleanings, periodontal and preventative services are not covered by the medical card, but can be done for a nominal fee.
Children and Infants
Complete dental care. Including, but not limited to: periodic exams, x-rays, cleanings (once every 6 months), fillings, sealants (ages 5-17, 1st and 2nd molars), and extractions. As well as limited: stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, and restorative services.
** Medicaid and AllKids covers children ages 0-20, available services beyond what the medical card covers may be provided for a nominal fee.
